Ok so this was actually said by ryan, while putting an antena like piece on his head- He wouldn't pose for the pic so had to somewhat alter the image. Had to.

    Suggestion box

    Hey guys

Today was a day full of good quotes (that weren't from me, finally) so here goes:

Sandeep to Lexi, Ryan, Richard, Me : "Smoking alone is worse than watching TV alone, yet somehow drinking by yourself doesn't seem so bad"
    Hehe, what a winner.

Lexi to previous group: " Drinking alone is the worse thing you can do after taking hard drugs (alone)" ... Lets not ask :)

Lexi trying to threaten Sandeep or something (hehe) : "Stop being a doormat and pull some rank" Sandeep asked me to quote him saying that he doesn't want to pull rank, but frankly his other quote was better :)

Ryan to Previous group: " I don't drink between drinks"... And now suddenly you make more sense to me :)

Ryan to me: " I feel loopless" ... as apposed to feeling looped? ;)

Lexi explaining to us how she used to get drunk on the phone which really isn't the same as drinking alone: " We were young, didn't have cars, it was the obvious thing to do" ...Ooops you know, I'm always missing those obvious things!

Oh be carefull what you say around me, Because I am on a mission to dethrone my quotes of the week. (R, don't even think ab quoting that)

    NB!- Whose pic is this??

    Friday, May 19, 2006

Today I did not come into Wits but sent my dear darling sister to pick up my photo's. I gave her a copy of all the pics she shud pic up (They were reprints) yet she managed to take someone else's photo as well.

I dont know whose it is, but Im imagining that its imperitive that they get it ASAP. Its shabbat soon so can't bring it back to Wits but if whosever it is smses me I'll drop it at them by Sunday. If anyone knows who it is, let me know.

Ps. Just a little suggestion. I think the word imperical should exist.

    Quote of the week

As of all you know, as well as DD, DD makes random comments very often. But today, when she unexpectly dropped by my house for tea :) she said something very wise, altho context might've been random, that I think needs to be quote of the week.

"Everyone wants what you've got, but no-one wants to go through what you've gone through to get it"

    Fayjisms VS. Kayisms

    Thursday, May 18, 2006
Yesterday morning at around 3, as Kay and I were still working in the darkroom it suddenly occurred to me, are there really any Fayjisms? It seems to me that alot of my vocab has been embedded through osmosis from talking to Kay so much.

Do any of these sound familiar?

    Imagine
    Too cool
Hot (Apparently from Paris Hilton but we'r going to ignore that)
    Expire
    Random

You may not think this is bad, but when any event occurs or anyone speaks to you and your first repsonse is Imagine that- You will know what I mean!

    You need to have:

PINFOLD HOUSE, Revit Model, and Physical Model

well then these are the final computers (revit) and discourse project's for the term,

so what must we do, well we are required to re model the case study house we are documenting on modernism for the discourse course, in our groupswe were given the pinfild house in the west rand, just off Republic in Randburg.

well then after one vistit to council and one visit to the site, here is what i have to work with...

these are the drawings produced by my colegue Lludd, (Pronunciation-Kleeth)
and then there are the photos, of the site

These photos were taken by all, if im mistaken, let me know, the group members, Ryan G, Justin O, Lludd G, Feige L, Leanne, thats who i remember with the cameras, damn that just leaves me out, ahhh what the hell, Richard.

yeah and we got some photos of the original model made in '54, published in the SA architectual Review April of '54

this information we have gathered must be enough for me to make a revit model and a physical model,
since on wednesday ill be cutting the materials and constucting the model for our discourse group, so firstly you will get a revit model, then from which i will be constucting a phisical model and all those details will be published in my model makin blog. yeah.

im hoping to achive a revit remodel, for the computers course which will be posted here and then a phisical model for the discourse course and modelmakin course, so the pix of the process of construction and the completed model pix will be up on the modelmaik site ,
hopefully by the end of the week if everything goes according to plan and some thing i have forgotten remains forgotten ,... for now ..

so all this is really just a killing of three birds with one stone kind of thing,
..ok so to work i go.

    keep checkin for rthe updates
