While looking at the blog , I noticed a link to a particular site in the Adsence ads.. It really struck me that you can just choose your style, size or budget and the thing spits out plans for you.. Crazy!!! Have a look, and tell me what you think...

I've interviewed these guys, I'll write it up and it'll hopefully be in the next crit magazine.

The interesting thing is, they basically say 'look, we know that architects can do things we can't, but the market we are working with would never hire an architect anyway. At least this way, they are getting professionally designed plans' (all are designed by registered architects)

Its mad.. But seems to make sence.. the whole role of an architect is changing.. The one thing that confuses me (out of many) is that if somebody is building a building that cost R1 500 000, why cant they afford an architect?
