Heys Guys once again weekly roundup is here...
DESIGN
The Indian house project is due on Monday, And I've been led to believe that the Alex 2 project is to be pinned up as well, I think on Monday he will select the entries thst will be taken through to the competition and thsoe people will nhave an extra week to work on their submissions. Peter has promised me that the mark list will be up on Monday
CONSTRUCTION
If anyone would like to see the construction tutors on Wednesday, please let me know. Daleen is coming in to see me at 1, and will come in earlier depending on how many students want to see her. On friday afternoon when I went to see Gerald Morne hadn't emailed the mark list yet, but Gerald said hed pin up the new marks when they had been emailed, hopefully by Monday this will have been done.
DISCOURSE
Your sketchbooks are to be completed for when we write the exam on Friday. The complete list of what should be in them is in our file in the library. You can add any annotated sketches into them , but no notes. DD put the digital lectures onto the public folder on Friday. Now apparently Hannah does have marks up, I will try get some list up on Monday
CIVIL
When I went to his office on Friday to get the extra questions he wasn't there, I will get them on Monday and will have them with me in studio in the afternoon
PHOTOSHOP
Sally said she will be giving us feedback on our books on Tuesday.
COMPUTERS
Im going to speak to paul on Monday and see what will happen with this seeing as we have no marks.

Monday 16 Oct Peter will be given us preliminary marks for the new project but final han-in is OCT 23, which is in exactly a week. A mark list is supposed to be up tommorow.
CONSTRUCTION
For portfolio review we will be expected to have a 1:20 section detail through every building we have designed this year (semi, timber, alex 1, alex 2 & new) I think that detialed model project was scrapped. Ill try have a mark list for us soon.

Hey Guys
Im introducing weekly round-up to our blog. Here's a rundown of what you need to know from this week and what to expect for next
Design
Well done to the students who were selected for the Alex thing!- They are expecting to see development from you guys on Monday. For the rest of us, get cracking on the new project. A site map CAD drawing was put onto public Folder by Marc. He also has a printed A4 page, and Faheem should have the A3. Site is really close and not dodge at all. Monday isn't going to be a final final, but Peter said its better for you if you treat it like the last project.
I asked Peter for some indication of what our year marks are sitting at, he said he'll have a list up next monday.
Construction
For those of you who didn't hand-in your municipal submissions, Saturday is your last chance. Tenille is going through to PTA tommorow, so if you need to give yours to her, get hold of her-if you cant make your own plan to get there, after saturday any late submission will get a 10% per day deduction. For those of us who did hand in on time,we will be awarded bonus marks, instead of taking marks off from the ones he gets tommorow, seeing as there was a mis-communication with time deadline.
As far as Wednesday goes. Our tutorial session was cancelled because there weren't enough students present. This week, we will be given our tut assignment to do after the Powerpoints,a nd it will be for DP so we are all expected to be there.

Oh my. Came and went. Could've been worse.
Discourse
Essays due for this Friday coming up. The roundup of lecture slides, should be given to me really soon to put up on public folder.

Book cover is due for Thursday

Ps. Unfortunately the Studio Party will for sure not be taking place this year, but next year expect to see big things from the fundraising side of the ARC. If anyone would like to join my soon to be mini committee within ARC contact me.
